Environmental law and forestry law, both at national and European level, include a network of legal rules that define and protect private real rights (forest maps, forest property, common things, etc.), administrative provisions concerning the environmental licensing of economic activities, and important criminal provisions and administrative sanctions in case of violations (forestry and environmental crimes, land clearing, etc.). Therefore, the resolution of legal issues concerning cases related to the above issues require special specialization, involving more than one legal sector (public, private, and criminal law) and at the same time a thorough knowledge of the special technical terminology.
